Here’s a video of some studio time with Mark Hoppus. According to some other sources, this piece is going to be part of the Mark Hoppus solo album and not the new blink-182 record. Either way, it sounds awesome.

Lyrics to Hallucinations by Angels & Airwaves:

And you look real close cross the lines and the roads
It is there to decode what you thought was a ghost or a spark to explode
It’s the start of the show
It’s the part you love the most where your heart will implode within.

    Do you believe in hallucinations
    Silly dreams or imagination
Don’t go away ’cause I feel you this time
Don’t go away ’cause I need you there this time. Read More | Comments

Spend a Day in the Studio with Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus, to Produce a Track for your Band!

How? Simply start bidding on the charity auction, here.

This auction is in aid of THE CHI LING CHENG SPECIAL NEEDS TRUST.

On November 2nd, 2008 Deftones’ bass player and brother Chi Ling Cheng was involved in a horrific car accident which has left him in a semi-conscious state.

In his journey to recovery, the Cheng family has accumulated an overwhelming amount of medical bills that insurance does not entirely cover.

As a result, it is Deftones’ mission to raise substantial funds to help ensure Chi’s recovery. To help achieve this goal, the band will be playing two benefit shows in November 2009 at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA. Additionally, for supporters unable to make these shows, Deftones has also launched this online auction to make available another opportunity for fans and friends worldwide to make a donation to the Trust.

All net proceeds will go to the Chi Ling Cheng Special Needs Trust that has been set up by the Cheng family to help pay for the growing medical costs required for Chi’s survival and recovery.

Deftones have the best fans in the world and Chi values every single one of them greatly. Please continue to show your unwavering support by helping with this very important cause.

Every so often, we get around to doing interviews with blink-182 fans who got that bit further and help to build the blink-182 family. Todays interview is with Federico Dorrego from TCBTE, an Argentinian based fan site.

So, let’s see what makes him tick as a ‘182 fan and the question, that we all need to know; would he give up his left testicle to see blink-182 live?

    Name: Federico Dorrego
    Twitter: @fedeb182
    Age: 18 almost 19
    Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina
blink-182 Fan Site: This Can’t Be The End (http://thiscantbetheend.com.ar/)

CartelTCBTEfinal1) How old was you and when did you first hear a blink-182 song?

I think i was 10 years old when i first heard blink-182. I remember it was “all the small things” but until i was 14 i didn’t know that “all the small things” was a song of blink-182. At that moment i started to buy all their albums and listen to all their songs.

    2) What’s your top 5 blink-182 songs and why?

My top songs are “Dumpweed”, “Story of a lonely guy”, “The rock show”, “what’s my age again?” and “Stay together for the kids”. I love all the songs, but this five have a special meaning for me.

“Dumpweed”, shows me how girls can be, sometimes, a real problem.

“Story of a lonely guy”, show how i have felt about girls ‘cause a lot of times i’ve been scared to let a girl known that I likes her.

“The Rock Show”, make me wants to visit the USA or live there, because talks about the warped tour and girls and stuff like that. Read More | Comments
