Here’s a video of some studio time with Mark Hoppus. According to some other sources, this piece is going to be part of the Mark Hoppus solo album and not the new blink-182 record. Either way, it sounds awesome.

Spend a Day in the Studio with Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus, to Produce a Track for your Band!
How? Simply start bidding on the charity auction, here.
This auction is in aid of THE CHI LING CHENG SPECIAL NEEDS TRUST.
“On November 2nd, 2008 Deftones’ bass player and brother Chi Ling Cheng was involved in a horrific car accident which has left him in a semi-conscious state.
In his journey to recovery, the Cheng family has accumulated an overwhelming amount of medical bills that insurance does not entirely cover.
As a result, it is Deftones’ mission to raise substantial funds to help ensure Chi’s recovery. To help achieve this goal, the band will be playing two benefit shows in November 2009 at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA. Additionally, for supporters unable to make these shows, Deftones has also launched this online auction to make available another opportunity for fans and friends worldwide to make a donation to the Trust.
All net proceeds will go to the Chi Ling Cheng Special Needs Trust that has been set up by the Cheng family to help pay for the growing medical costs required for Chi’s survival and recovery.
Deftones have the best fans in the world and Chi values every single one of them greatly. Please continue to show your unwavering support by helping with this very important cause.“

Up All Night? Not for a while!

LAS VEGAS — There’s a pretty good chance you’ll hear just about every Blink-182 song imaginable on their current reunion tour … and more than a few dirty jokes too.
With a back catalog that spans a decade, and a set that stretches nearly two hours (not to mention an average song length of something around four minutes), Blink have been throwing just about everything into their recent shows, with one notable exception: “Up All Night.”

The top 10 of Billboard’s albums chart is littered with names you know by now — Eminem, the Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, the Jonas Brothers — but there’s also one the average record buyer might not. Lodged at #4 on the chart, having sold nearly 63,000 copies of their Nothing Personal album, is All Time Low.
Yes, the punky quartet from the suburbs of Baltimore shocked music fans by debuting at #4 on the chart, because while plenty of people were expecting big things from their new album, no one thought they’d go this big.

Posted in: Competition News, Production
It’s back!
We teamed up with LoudClothing.com some time ago to ‘give away a t-shirt a week’ competition, but due to my slackness (ok, just busy working – honest!) I kinda got slack on creating a new ’spot the difference’ every week. However, due to constant pestering by certain people on Twitter and via email, I’ve got my butt in to gear, so if anything, I can get some peace around here, right? :}
So, here we go; competition week 3 of 5 to win a Blink182 Chrome Smiley T Shirt…
